The MISSION of Cascade Heights Public Charter School is to partner with parents to inspire the social, emotional, intellectual, physical, personal, and ethical growth of children and prepare them to be contributing citizens of a global society.
In 2005 our mission statement was developed over time with long discussions about what our strategic planning team believed about education. We talked about the purpose of our school and why we exist. We discussed the solid foundation of core values and beliefs which were the shaping forces behind our shared vision. We asked the question: What are the curriculum, instruction, assessment and environmental factors that will support effective learning for our students. Curriculum is what we teach. Instruction is how we teach the curriculum. Assessment is how we measure and assess learning. Learning environment is how each person treats every other person.
