AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM MRS. MACY REGARDING CAMPUS SECURITY
Side doors are not to be used for student entry
Over the last month student entry through the side door in the morning has become an increasing concern. In light of recent tragic events, this is a security risk we are not willing to tolerate.
It is hard enough to manage security in a building with people coming in one entrance. It becomes infinitely more difficult when people are entering through a side door and relying on students to open that door. A sign has been put on the side doors and I respectfully insist that all students enter the building through the front doors, unless approved by school administration for handicap access.
Students have been informed that they are not to open doors for anyone. This may cause a slight inconvenience but the vulnerability factor far outweighs any discomfort.
Thank you for your cooperation!
Mrs. Macy, Director

ANNUAL PERCEPTION SURVEY OPENS MONDAY
Let your voice be heard!
As in years past, Cascade Heights is asking all parents, students, and staff to take a few moments and give us your thoughts on this year.
Ideally, every parent and guardian will complete this survey for each student.
The links will be posted on Monday. Surveys can be taken from any computer with an internet connection. Computers are available at school for your use, right outside the office.
Your participation is invaluable to Cascade Heights’ mission to partner with parents!
Thank you for your time!
