If you would like to participate, bring extra Halloween candy to the front of the school on November 1st and dump it in the bin. All candy collected goes directly to local veterans through Ft. Kennedy, a local non-profit organization that supports our wider community.
This fun tradition brings joy to many people! Ft. Kennedy takes our candy donations and holds special resource connection events where veterans are given coffee and treats! Ft. Kennedy provides housing assistance, legal assistance, help processing VA claims, PTSD classes, AA meetings, access to a food pantry and baby closet, clothing closet, laundry services, haircuts and shaves, and pet food and supplies.
