STAFF vs MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL GAME

Thursday, April 9, 6:30 to 7:30pm

$1 gets you in the door to watch the student team as they try to dethrone the reigning champions, our staff.

Snacks, raffle, prizes, and fun games! Don’t miss it!


Our Lost and Found Overfloweth

Last chance to retrieve AWOL items will be at Basketball Game

Lost and Found items will be brought to the front halls for the middle school vs. teacher basket ball game,Thursday, April 9 @ 6:30 . All items left at the end of the evening will be donated to a worthy cause.  Be sure to take a look for your AWOL clothing, lunch box, water bottle, etc.

Saturday, April 18, 9 to 4

Please come help spruce up the school! Drop in any time between 9 and 4 and check the “Help Our Campus Stay Beautiful” board in the main hall (next to the Science Lab). Pick a card with a project that interests you or look around and pick something that needs doing. When your project is complete, put the card in the blue envelope.

Inside jobs, outside jobs, big jobs, little jobs, there is a job for everyone. Bring the whole family and a picnic lunch (no childcare provided). Students who participate will get a homework pass and service hours will be signed off.

Here are some tools and supplies that will be needed. If you can think of anything else, bring it. (Or if there is something you particularly like doing, bring the tools for it and dig in!)

  • Gardening tools: hoe, rake, leaf rake, shovel, weeding tools, gloves, blower, mower, string trimmer, big garbage bags, litter grabber...
  • Cleaning supplies: all purpose cleaner, disinfectant cleaner, windex, rubber gloves, rags, paper towels, squeegee, bucket, long handled duster, shop vac...
  • Tools for a special project: paint brush, step ladder, power washer, flowering plants for beds...

CHINA TRIP

Spring Break 2016

On Wednesday, April 29 at 8 AM, there will be a meeting for families of students enrolled in Chinese (5th grade and up) who are interested in going to China during Spring Break of 2016. If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please plan to attend!

IMPORTANT DATES FOR NEW KINDIES

Note! Orientation Date Changed to Tuesday, 4/28

Results of the Kindergarten Lottery have been mailed. If your child was offered a spot in Kindergarten next year, you will get the acceptance packet as soon as you confirm with Mrs. Marlatt that you are enrolling.

Please note: The previously published date of the Parent Orientation Meeting has been changed. The new date is Tuesday, April 28th from 6:30 to 7:30pm. This is a required meeting for all families who have Kindy students starting in the coming year (September of 2016). Please make arrangements for at least one family member to attend. See below for the full list of required upcoming meetings and classes.

Kindergarten 2016-17 Important Dates

  • Acceptance documents due: April 13, 4:00pm
  • Parent Orientation Meeting: April 28, 6:30 - 7:30 pm

SAVE THE DATE ~ SPRING GALA DINNER, LIVE & SILENT AUCTION

Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 6:30 in the evening

This event, spearheaded by the PTA, will be our main fundraiser of the year. Tickets are $35 per person or $60 per couple (over 21 only).

We hope every family will be able to join us in this community fundraising activity. You can help by soliciting donations of items to be auctioned (all items large and small are welcome). We also hope you will attend and invite family, friends and others as guests.

Beautiful, full size, color posters are available in the office. Put them up at work, local community boards, businesses you patronize, or anywhere else you can think of to help spread the word.
