Head Start Is Coming To Cascade Heights!

28 July 2016 Written by

We are so excited that our Head Start program will have a classroom in your child’s school this year! Beginning in September, three and four year old children enrolled in Head Start will attend preschool Monday through Thursday for 3.5 hours in the morning and afternoon.

Classes will run from 8:15 to 11:45, and then again from 12:30 until 4:00.

We are a non-profit organization called Clackamas County Children’s Commission, and have been providing Head Start services to children and families living in poverty for 45 years. Head Start is a federal and state funded program that prepares at-risk young children for kindergarten, and assists families with resources such as parenting education, social services, health needs and adult education. We serve over 700 children in the county, and 40 will attend Clackamas Heights.
